Are you worried about putting on weight? I put on I guess 3 stone, baby weighed 6lbs6oz. They monitor your weight so you don't put on too little or too much, mostly too little because I got ticked off one week because my weight hadn't gone up.

was 10st before, 10.5 after, now he's 5mths I'm 9.25 st and baby was 8lb 7oz

I lost a stone by 3m as was so ill and had been over wieght. I am now 1 stone lighter at 1 year.

By the end of pg I was .5 stone heavier than when I started. So in the last 6m of PG I gained 1.5 stones. DD was 7.5.

Make sense? I think the BF helped keep the wieght off.

I only ever got weighed at my booking appointment.
Lost 1/2 a stone in first 3 months and only put that back on by term at 38 weeks. DS is now 12 weeks old and I am a stone lighter than before pg (still about 4 stone too heavy but there you go....)

With dd1...weighed 7 and half stone before pregnant

baby weighed 10 pounds

weighed 12 and half stone after she was born

too much cake!

With DS:
Was 9 stone when I got pregnant .
Was 13 stone when he was born - He was 10lbs and a bit.
Lots of cake here too
Was 11 stone when he was a month old.
Was 9 and a half stone by the time he was 7 months. Never did hit my 9 stone again

With DD (in Kgs this time as I was in NZ)
Was 60 kg when I got pg with her (about 9.5 stone)
Was 90kg when she was born - she was 10lbs and 10oz
A bit more cake then ...

Was around the 75kg mark by 3 months but didn't lose the rest until she was 1 and I dragged myself down to weightwatchers.
Settled around 62kg then.

Am trying now to get rid of that last 2kg.

Oh and I refused to be weighed during my second pregnancy. You didn't need a degree in rocket science to see I was putting on weight nicely
The bastard Doctor who monitored my weight during my first pregnancy made me cry every time he weighed me.
So with DD I refused to be weighed and the midwife didn't mind. I had to be weighed when I was in labour though due to anaesthetic stuff and c/s technicalities.

with dd1 was 8st 10 when i was booked in, weighed 12 st just before she was born. she was 6lb 9 and i lost a stone straight away. was back down to 9 stone within 3/4 mths.

with dd2 was 9st 6 when fell pregnant, weighed 13 st before she was born weighing 7lb5, lost stone and a half straight away. back down to 9st 2 in about 3/4 mths.

pregnant with dc3 now and have maybe put on a pound in the first 12 wks. dont want to put on quite as much weight this time though as i do eat like a pig when pregnant! so being much healthier this time. not dieting but not starting the day with a sprinkles donught from gregs
