I am 37 weeks due to give birth via c section in 2 weeks.
I have been on long term antibiotics (cefalexin) since around 6 months pregnant after 4 rounds if strong antibiotics for non stop/ constant urinary tract infections (UTI).
I now have a bad cold sore outbreak that will be dangerous if still present with newborn - so been put in oral aciclovir to try and speed up the recovery and prevent further outbreaks.
Just wondered if any other mums have been on antibiotics and antivirals at same time in pregnancy and was everything OK with baby??
I hate taking medication while expecting especially two different types at the sand time.
Any help /advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
