Hi there. I have recently experienced my 3rd mc in a row, in 3 consecutive years. I have a 10yo already. I seem to fall pregnant easily and the first 2 mc ended at 6 weeks, but the recent one went to 9.5wks, we even had a scan at 8 weeks and saw the hb and everything looked great. At 9 weeks my symptoms stopped suddenly so I went for a scan and they confirmed no hb. I was due to go for blood tests at the hosp this week to try and find out what's going wrong but with this Covid19 my apt has been cancelled. I am 37 this year and worried about waiting til this blows over and getting the tests before trying again, as I feel like my time is running out. The only thing I did differently in the 3rd pregnancy that I hadn't done in the others was take pregnancy multivitamins and baby aspirin, is that maybe why I got a bit further? Maybe I didn't take enough vitamins, maybe I need more Vit D! These are all the questions running through my head. I'm torn about what to do; do i wait for tests, risk that being months away to be told the results show nothing and I've wasted all this time, or do I try again and up my vitamins or aspirin and hope for the best? Any advice welcome!!

Sorry to hear about your MC, and do hope your ok.

From experience the hospital tests where pretty inconclusive, I just got told over and over again it was one of them things. I went to 3 different hospitals and the all said the same thing. At this point I had 7 miscarriages and was mid twenties at the time.
After years of being scared of whether I try, I went to a private clinic who ran tests. They found 4 things wrong. One being my blood, poor egg quality, very little eggs (pratically infertile), and my cervix.

I’ve surprisingly fallen pregnant now, 6 years after my last mmc and I’m taking aspirin and fragmin injections, and being monitored closely. I’ve reached 11+5, which to me is an achievement. But I wasn’t ready to fall pregnant (wasn’t ttc) and the anxiety is taking its toll, but I’m going to do everything I can to make this work. I would recommend (despite my bad experience with the NHS) that you have the blood test. But if you do feel ready to try again, then do. It’s whether you personally feel ready mentally and physically. But don’t feel like you haven’t done enough. Good luck
