Strange vision

Today I’ve woken up and can’t see any of the right side of things. So if I read a text or this post back while words are missing. This happened before back in January and did wear off after a couple of hours. I’m not in any pain and I don’t have a headache. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Never happened to me but I would find that extremely worrying. I think you should seek professional advice.

Sounds like a migraine, I only see half of things and can struggle with understanding words and speaking. I also don't get a headache

You need to seek emergency medical attention.

It's most likely an ocular migraine. They can happen with or without pain. Pregnancy can also play with your vision. Maybe ring your optician and tell them your symptoms as some are still open for emergencies. Hope it passes soon.

Hi there. I'm an optician and would ask you to ring your local optician or 111. This can be anything from something minimal like a migraine to something much worse and it's always better to be safe than sorry. 💐

I had strange vision and it turned out to be gestational diabetes

Thanks all. I’ve called the optician and he has said it sounds like a migraine. It’s gone now and I’m back to normal vision. :)
