Aww thanks @sel2223 @Lilice the scan was an absolute nightmare as baby was breach and would not turn for love nor money and they aren't rescanning people now so I was there for hours, they had me doing all sorts of excersies to try and get the baby to turn, I definitely think a girl with that kind of stubbornness 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ x

You can't tell it's just the babies head? Post your 12 week scan for the nub

@BabyB19 I dont know anything about the skull theory but I just thought it looked like a girl when I saw the picture

I'm the same @Lilice haha it's based on no kind of science I just asked for fun, and I do think it looks like a girl weirdly haha x

Looks different to my boy skull. I would say girl as skull is rounder and more prominent at the front x

Plus I thought girl as soon as I looked. My boy looks like a boy in the scan. And yours looks like a girl

I've heard it's more about how you look and feel. I have a high bump, thought i was having a girl and turns out i am. Think it's all a bit of a myth though.. not sure!

I always thought when I had kids I would have boys @Oldestchild90s but not I'm pregnant I have such an overwhelming feeling it's a girl ❤️

@BabyB19 it's weird isn't it. I had the same feeling and unsurprisingly she's a girl.. such a great feeling though 😍❤️

I really don't have any preference either way either so it's not that I'm hoping for a girl and it's false hope, it's just such a strange sense isn't it, but wonderful ❤️🥰

I too had the overwhelming feeling he was a boy, my 12 week scan pic, everyone said it looked like a little boy. My sister's 12 week scan looked like a little girl (she was)...

I think once you read about the skull theory it makes you look at a scan pic and you naturally tend toward boy/girl when seeing the skull haha.

@BabyB19 I've got one of each and it was only when I saw the ultrasound of my son that I thought wow that looks like a boy.
@Oldestchild90s my bump was identical both times even though my son was breech and my daughter head down.
I'm not finding out the sex this time but from my 12 week scan I think it's a girl.

Ooh very similar to both my boys (who clearly have girl-shaped heads according to that skull theory!) so I shall guess boy! My second was a flipping nightmare at the 20 week scan too - in fact he was a nightmare during every scan. Luckily he's turned out to be a very calm, easygoing little thing!

I couldn't get a picture at my 20 week scan, baby was being soo awkward so I got a nice photo of the spine 😆.
I was hoping to book a 4d scan but doubt that'll be able to happen now this is all going on !

So maybe there is some truth in you just being able to tell them @LittleBoyJuly2020 and @Lilice
Haha @KatnissK I hope this one is the same, my OH is completely laid back and very soft natured etc so I'm hoping to get one like him, this is our first 😊 oh and he sleeps like the dead too so that would be a win 🤣
@jdy123 aww did you see much in the actual scan? Because we're not finding out I could barely look at the screen because the little bugger had its bum waving in the air most of the time! I'm hoping for a 3D scan too around 30 weeks was the plan 🤦🏽‍♀️

@BabyB19 did they manage to check for all the anomalies?
My baby wouldn't stay still long enough to get some of the measurements they need at my 20 week scan so I'm going back at 23 weeks for a re-scan

Awww haha. I managed to see limbs, spine and front face view which was very strange haha, but didn't manage to get the side face view that you want !
Yeah I was thinking another scan at the 30ish mark too, which would be around 23rd May so will have to see ! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

They got most things done @sel2223 but they're not offering rescanning atm in my hospital so I can't go back. That's why I ended up there so long and having a PT session to try and get baby to move as she was trying her best to get them all 🤦🏽‍♀️

So glad i found people in the same boat as me right now, to share the happiness with! I went for my 20w scan last week and could only go by myself but that was ok. Felt sorry for the staff there as i could just tell everyone was very stressed out and the scan was very rushed although i didn't mind!
It's our first baby, and i was absolutely amazed at every little detail you could see 🥰

With both my DD and this current pregnancy, I was completely convinced boy. Obviously I was wrong with DD and I found out on Saturday that I’m expecting another girl. My instincts are way off.

So whatever your guess is I'll go the opposite @BeingATwatItsABingThing 😭🤣
@Oldestchild90s I was upset that my OH couldn't come, we had a MMC last year so scan day is always a big cause of anxiety for me but as you say as soon as I got there and seen how harassed they staff were we have to just thank our lucky stars that all scans haven't been cancelled entirely don't we. I took them some hand creams as a gift and they were so so grateful it broke my heart ❤️
