Help please - am I pregnant PCOs

Hi all

I am new here and was hoping for some advice.

I have been diagnosed with PCOS. I had a scan just short of a week ago that showed up 10 cysts on the right ovary and what the gyno called a periphial cyst on left. Other than that all went fine. I have only been ttc since 27th of Feb after coming off the pill and was put on Metforim on March 14th.

Yesterday I had 4 bfp's...I'm very confused as surely I could not of got pregnant this quick, I hadn't even had a period from coming off the pill. Plus nothing was seen on my scan?

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

No not that I can find through researching. I have left the Gyno a message for some advice. It just seems odd as I dont really have any symptoms at all xx

I've got PCOS - tried for 18 months to get pregnant, then was put on Metformin and was pregnant within a few weeks - fingers crossed it's good news for you!

Oh and my symptoms didn’t start till 6 weeks x

I got pregnant pretty much instantly on Metformin. Congrats OP!

I have PCOS. I've never had any problems getting pregnant. It is one of the possible side effects of the condition but it's not a sure thing. Anyone having unprotected sex can get pregnant. Congratulations.

No HCG in metformin so i'd say those are definitely positive!! Metformin helped me conceive 3 times unfortunately I'm unable to carry much past 9 weeks though

I have PCOS and when I conceived my DS it was within weeks of taking Metformin. Congratulations

I have pcos, just got a bfp with zero pregnancy symptoms after 4 months of trying. And nothing would have been seen on a scan this early 😀 when i had a suspected ectopic in my 2nd pg they had to do a laparoscopy to find him as they could only see a cyst on my ovary and a shadow in a tube. All was well and he was just too tiny to see on a normal scan 😊 congrats!

Hi there I've got High BMI and PCOS - I've been taking Metformin and it definatley doesn't cause BFP - I should know I've taken enough tests since being on Metformin!

Aww thank you all for your replies I really needed my mind putting at ease. I was just about to buy another pack of tests but my husband was like 'ok you need to stop now . What a crazy time to get pregnant with all this going on! Xx

Hello everyone I am so glad I found you. I found out today I was pregnant and I am shocked! I have pcos too and I have no idea what to expect. I don’t have regular periods so I’m around 6-7 weeks. Congratulations everyone!

I have PCOS but got pregnant within 3 months of trying (currently 33weeks+4), doctors really should make it clear that PCOS is only a barrier to some women who struggle to conceive, I know a few women who had no problem getting pregnant with PCOS and all were surprised because thats not what we're led to believe. Xxx Congratulations!!!
