Hello,
Hope you are all well.
I've have had issues with spotting/ bleeding since finding out i was pregnant (4 +weeks) which then stopped around 7 weeks pregnant. I had a scan at 7+3 which found a heartbeat! My bleeding had already stopped then for around 2 days. I am now 11 weeks but for the past 6 days I have been spotting again and this morning more fresher blood than normal appeared in the toilet which has made me panic more. The midwives said there is at times no explanation for the bleeding so may happen again therefore havent contacted them. I'm just more worried with me seeing fresher blood this morning and more of it hense why writing on here. I have my '12' week scan on the 17th April so I know they wouldnt scan me sooner. Just wondering if anyone has had the similar happen to them and if so what did you do?
Thanks x

I’m going through exactly the same rn I’m 11 weeks and had red spotting this morning, my 12 week scan is the 15th. I’m anxious but it’s now turned brown which I’ve had through most weeks. Sorry I can’t reassure just know your not alone and I’ve read that it’s very common and even we will worry it’s not always cause for concern x

Hello all, I’m just past 20 weeks and bled from 5-16 weeks. No one medical was remotely concerned other than me. The general rule of thumb is that if you soak a pad then seek help. Nothing will help alleviate the stress and worry and constant knicker checking but there are lots of happy stories along with any sad that you find.

Bless you, thank you for replying. It's funny isnt it how much you read saying it's common, yet no matter what we cant help but worry like crazy! My spotting at the beginning sounds similar to what you are explaining and they said everything was fine. I have my fingers crossed for your scan! Please let me know how it goes, although it can be so worrying it's also the most amazing time! X
