Hello ladies has anyone experienced bleeding at 7+5 with a positive outcome? I'm booked in this afternoon at EPU x

I bled most of the way through my first trimester, had a smallish bruise which was constantly leaking blood where the baby implanted and then one day a big clot came out! All fine for me. It could be a list of things but ultimately you won't know until the EPU app. Whats the bleeding like? Thinking of youThanks

@basicwitches... I got up at 6 am to per and there was fresh red blood when I wiped then I looked in the bowl and there was blood in the urine. Seems to be bleeding just a little now so fingers crossed 🤞 x had a miscarriage at 12 weeks last time so not hopeful. Tho I've no cramping which could be a good thing x

Minemine was there when i wiped/ on a pad and bright red blood. Bleeding doesn't always have a bad outcome, i'm really hoping the best for you today! X

I’m so sorry -this is so stressful. I have had both Positive and negative outcomes from bleeding. On the positive outcome (now 30 weeks) I had huge bright read blood at 5 and half weeks -and continued to bleed on and off for about 6 weeks-it was a haemotoma. Eventually it bled out /evaporated and I stopped bleeding at about 3 months and the pregnancy continued-apparently more common than you might think. Best of luck. There can be positive outcomes with bleeding.

I had bleeding between weeks 6-11. Baby was fine and no cause found. An unbelievably stressful time though! Good luck x

I had bleeding from 8 to 12 weeks. At week 11 a big clot came out and it was super scary. But on week 14 now and the bleeding has stopped.

You poor thing. The worrying is horrible at this time. Bleeding in pregnancy is very common and can mean numerous things and not always the worst outcome.
Like another poster I have also had both outcomes so try to not think the worst until your appointment and the amazing staff at the EPU will help and guide you.
Hope it goes well this afternoon 💐

Thankyou all for your lovely messages, much appreciated. The bleeding has stopped and a pregnancy test is still positive though my boobs aren't as sore so let's see what scan reveals xx

Sending positive vibes. I had heavy bleeding in both my pregnancies. It's not always the end x

Amichelle84 · 07/04/2020 14:39

Good luck! I know you will ne thinking the worst, I certainly did when it happened to me. I bled from about week 5 to 9, sometimes heavy.

I am 20 weeks today and they couldnt see any reason for it.

Sending you positive thoughts.

Furbabymum15 · 07/04/2020 16:39

Hi everyone thankyou all for sharing your stories and kind words..... I got scanned and little bean looks just as it should, but I'm 6 weeks and 5 days.
I was a week ahead of myself x

They said the bleed could have been the implantation bleed coming away....so all good and soooooooo relieved x

Great news!

Aiya18 · 07/04/2020 18:13

Hi everyone! Im about 6 weeks + 3 days. I had light brown spotting on Saturday. I had scan on Monday and could hear the heart beet. However, today started with more brown spotting and eventually changing to fresh blood. I'm not sure what to do. Could you please share your experience.

Furbabymum15 · 07/04/2020 19:00

@Aiya18 very similar to me and they said it was probably the implantation bleed coming away, very common at this stage. They said unless it's big clots coming out not to worry. Xx

@Furbabymum15 thank you for your fast reply. I'm feeling lost. Your reply gave me hope :) hopefully will not need to go to A&E

Pentium85 · 07/04/2020 19:16

Yes. Bled very badly between 5-7 weeks.

The not so little toddler asleep in my arms says that the outcome can be positive

Homeboddy49 · 07/04/2020 22:36

That's fantastic news. Congratulations
