Morning all, just looking for a bit of advice please!

Tiny bit of background... had really bad sickness/nausea until I was 23 weeks. The sickness then went away and I just had a bit of nausea at night.

Now I’m almost 28 weeks and feel absolutely horrendous! The nausea is back even worse than before and I constantly think I’m going to be sick but nothing comes up if I try. I can’t stand for longer than a few minutes without feeling like I’ll pass out and this feeling only goes away if I lie down.

I am so exhausted all day because I can’t sleep at night so just feel totally drained... not helped by wfh and busier than ever with workload.

I (hopefully) have my 28 week consultant and growth scan with midwife on Wednesday. Should I just wait until then to discuss with them or should I flag it now?

What do you do for work? It might be worth getting signed off.
This could stress related as much as it is physical.

How is your diet and hydration? Are you getting enough nutrients? Are you taking pregnancy supplements?

If you're not actually vomiting, it could be down to exhaustion. Give your body a break.

@crackerscheesescabbyknees It’s office work but dealing with customers worldwide so we’re business as usual just from home.

I’m trying to eat as well as I can... usually it’s forced because I know I have to for my baby but still putting something in at every mealtime. Hydration has been the same as always, it’s the only good thing I’ve been able to keep up.

Yes to the supplements, I’m still taking the supplements I was given by my midwife at the beginning of my pregnancy.

Thanks for the advice, my body does just feel pushed and exhausted!

Office work isn't as important as you are right now. See if you can get signed off for a week or two, take that time to rest and de-stress.

If you're really struggling with meals try grazing instead. Eat little and often and choose foods that are going to boost your energy and not trigger nausea. Chicken, fruit, salad vegetables, nuts are all a good shout.

I hope you feel better soon x
