Is there any pregnant mums out there who have recovered from covid19 virus and how long did it take you? What were your symptoms?

I'm on day 6, my fever has not subsided, my chest has tightened, my cough has gotten worse, I have no appetite and can't taste anything. The ambulance service came to check my vitals and oxygen level yesterday, I'm still in a good position to stay home and recover. My MIL who I'm staying with right now has been hospitalised and tested positive for covid19 so her consultant advised he's most certain I also have the virus.

I've cancelled my 20weeks scan that was meant to take place today. I can feel baby moving so it's reassuring.

My OH is looking after my 5YO who has a temperature so it's likely he has it too.

When will this get better? 😢

Ah I'm so sorry you're having to fight off this virus whilst being pregnant. I don't have any experience personally but at my local hospital, a healthy baby was born last week to a mum who had tested positive for Covid-19 so there are examples of everything being OK.

I've read that lots of vitamin D helps, as does eating fruit. I really hope you come through the other side soon x
