how would i know if i caught worms from my dog?

that's it...i'm not sure if she has worms but i noticed her scooting on her bum today on the carpet a few times. we live way out in the country and i don't need to pick up after her, she never poops in house. will take her to the vet tomorrow but hope it hasn't harmed baby. would i feel anything if i caught them?
having a horrendous time with anxiety and just at my wits end. going to gp tomorrow to ask for anti-anxiety medication, i've avoided it for weeks but can't take this anymore. just for tonight need reassurance about dogs and worms and baby

she is farting a lot too so i did think anal glands, but she has been lethargic too over the past few days, i thought she just was responding to me being pregnant

Just give the dog worming tablets and relax. My dog had worms recently and I was paranoid too but my midwife didn't see a problem and I gave the dog worming tablets. Problem solved

@Delbelleber problem solved i hope i laugh about some of these things when this is over. i would give anything for a drink (or three) and a night out with the girls

You really should be picking up after your dog.

Shitting worms would usually be an indication.

@Hileni and @IHaveBrilloHair my dog spends time out in fields on our private land so it's impossible to pick up after her.
@Crackerscheesescabbyknees yep my hubby saw her poop today and there was nothing there so hopefully its something else. i know this is stupid & really need to get on top of the anxiety and will tomorrow
