Can I get low dose Aspirin on prescription?

I'm supposed to be taking low dose Aspirin to lower my chances of pre-eclampsia but I've now run out and can't find any anywhere (am now 25 weeks). Is it something anyone has gotten on prescription before?

I think it can be in theory but not many doctors are willing. I actually have two unopened packets of Boots 75mg asprin that I was just wondering what to do with as I'm 38 weeks now. I'd happily pop them in the post for you free if that would help?

@squee123 are you sure?? That would be amazing, thank you so much Flowers

My midwife wrote me a scrip at my booking appt. I was 8 weeks, so I'm still not taking it yet (almost 11 weeks today) but have a reminder in my calendar at 12 to start.

totally no problem. Just PM me your address and I'll bung them in the post tomorrow as I have to go out to a hospital appointment anyway. It must be fate as I had literally just been looking at them
in the drawer thinking it was a shame as I bet some women are struggling to get them atm. DH and I managed to double up buying the last lost as hadn't been able to get them for ages then both managed to get some on the same day and each bought two packs to see me through to 36 weeks
