Positive test after AF 2 weeks ago?

I had a missed miscarriage in February, I was 9 weeks but baby stoped growing at 7. I went for a scan at my EPU on Wednesday 19th feb where the pregnancy was still in my womb and had to go back on the 25th of feb to see if I would need any treatment. I passed the pregnancy myself on Thursday 20th feb and the second scan on the 25th confirmed this and there was no tissue left.

I had my 1st period on the 22nd of March and have started bleeding a little today. I have taken a pregnancy test and it’s positive. How can this be when it’s only been 2 weeks since my last period?

Sorry for your MMC, what made you take a pregnancy test today?

I honestly don’t know I’d had a “peak” ovulation test on Friday and my boobs were a little bit harder. My temp was slightly up too so I just thought I’d do one and it would be negative. I’m in shock it’s positive. I haven’t really had any symptoms

Was the bleeding on 22nd March definitely a period? Could it have been implantation bleeding?
I'm no expert on this so hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge will reply soon.

Just an update I case anyone looks at this post at an future I think it was a chemical pregnancy.
