Hi all, I'm 14w with baby number 1. My BMI is a bit high, 27. I find I've got lots of fat on my belly especially lower part and this week it feels like it's been pushed out and I can't suck my belly in as much as I used to. Basically it looks already like I've got a huge fat belly. Although I only gained 1,5kg so far. When did you start showing? Where does belly fat go later on?

I think I was showing around 14 weeks too but it was only really obvious to me and my partner.....i probably just looked like it put on a few lbs to everyone else.
I think I properly 'popped' around 17 weeks and I had a lot of people commenting 'where did that come from?'
I'm now 21+2 and I've got an unmistakable bump.

I think around 16 weeks for me. But not many people would’ve been able to tell at first. Started looking very obviously pregnant at 20ish weeks, and now at 29 weeks I look like a beach ball Grin

ThinkPink71 · 04/04/2020 20:25

I think I was about 19 weeks xx

MrsPworkingmummy · 04/04/2020 20:32

When I first fell pregnant, I was size 6 and started showing about 12 weeks. With my second, you could tell I was pregnant from around 4 weeks.

BrooHaHa · 04/04/2020 20:35

It's bloat at this stage. I always get bloated and look about six months pregnant by 10 weeks in. It sucks.

lockdownpregnancy · 04/04/2020 20:41

I'm 15 weeks and you can't tell I'm pregnant. I am huge by the end of the day as I suffer with bloat but by the morning it's gone. My friend was showing at 12 weeks and another as little as 6 so everyone is different.
I do actually want my belly to pop now, so I don't have to try and suck my stomach in all the time so I don't look like I've just piled the pounds on 😂

I’m 18 weeks tomorrow with my second and only really started showing this week but still fit in my jeans so thinking I’ll be well over 20 weeks before other people would be sure I’m pregnant.

Siobhan1989 · 04/04/2020 21:43

I’m 27 weeks, first baby, bmi before was about 19... you can’t tell I’m pregnant yet 🙈

MooseBreath · 04/04/2020 21:46

I noticed a change at 8 weeks. Other people could tell at 10!

Bezalelle · 04/04/2020 21:50

My jeans were too tight at about 8 weeks, but didn't start to show properly until about 14 weeks. I'm 18 weeks now and can still "suck it in" but it's uncomfortable!

Lumierecandle · 04/04/2020 22:11

I started to get a tiny bump at ten weeks but I am quite petite. It was only noticeable to me and other half when not wearing any clothes. I was very concerned it was weight gain from all the salt and vinegar cheap I’d been eating to ward off the sickness but my doctor said otherwise!

Mylittlepony374 · 04/04/2020 22:21

18 weeks with my first baby.

Colouringinbook · 04/04/2020 23:39

With my first you could see a little bump at 10weeks and there was no hiding it by about 15weeks.

OhNoNoNoNotThatOne · 04/04/2020 23:45

I kind of exploded over night at 28 weeks, I had a slight bump from about 20 weeks but just looked like bloating.
Sign of strong stomach muscles they say.

Indigogirl88 · 05/04/2020 07:47

I'm 13 weeks and short as well and I think it was noticable from around 9 weeks (it had nothing to do with all the marmite toast I had to eat, clearly) I've managed to be ok due to isolation and wearing joggers and leggins so far which is much more comfortable, not sure when I'll actually show properly

SpillTheTeaa · 05/04/2020 08:10

About 14 weeks for me

chocolate26 · 05/04/2020 08:19

Me and DH could tell I had a tiny bump from 11 weeks but it wasn't noticeably pregnant to strangers until about 18 weeks!
