6 weeks pregnant and worried

Hi. I'm new here. Not sure if I'm posting in the right area.

I had a miscarriage last year, and now I'm finally pregnant again. Due to having a miscarriage they sent me for an early pregnancy scan. I was 6w1d if dating from my lmp.

When I went in the nurse seen me before I told me not to get my hopes up seeing a heartbeat as it's still very early.

She was right. I went in and they found a sac and a fetal pole measuring 3mm but she couldn't quite see the heartbeat. She didn't seem worried and let me have a look and said come back in 2 weeks.

Yesterday I felt nauseous, absolutely shattered and even wretched some bile up. That all kind of made me feel better. But today there is nothing I've had a good rest and sleep and now only have tender heavy boobs and still feel a little tired. But not nauseated or off food at all

Just looking for some support as I'm dreading going back for that scan and miscarrying again.

It is very early and they won't always be able to find clear signs - try to hang on in there; I'm sorry you're going through this anxiety.

I've had very very few symptoms and those I have had have come and gone. Baby still fine at 11 weeks. I think we torture ourselves by expecting loads of stereotypical pregnancy symptoms but having asked lots of people, there are huge variations, even between people's own pregnancies. I know it is such a worrying time but try not to worry.

I had a miscarriage last year as well, got pregnant again and went for my first scan at 5w 5d.
At that point we were only able to see the gestational sac, not even a fetal pole..they said it was normal but of couser it made me so anxious..
Went back for another scan at 7w 3d and could finally see a tiny baby with a heartbeat 💗 I am now 20 weeks and everything is going well.

I know its hard but try not to worry, it’s way too early too see anything. There is a chance that the dates you are calculating are slightly wrong, and at that early stage every day the baby changes so much. Ho

Thank you all. I'm just ever so worried I'll miscarry again. It's like I want to feel super duper pregnant and willing to feel the worst for some reassurance in actually pregnant. Do not want to face another miscarriage. It send me crazy.x

@Lov3my2 I completely understand what you mean.. I felt so extremely anxious for the first 12 weeks.. mine was a missed miscarriage so I didn’t have any kind of symptoms and found out in the dating scan. I kept stressing that I was going to go through the same, every week felt sooo long.. there is not much you can do, just try to be busy so that you don’t have time to think, and before you know the next scan will be here and hopefully you will feel more reassured.

I know exactly how you feel. I’ve had two mc and just found out I’m pregnant this morning. I’ve been having stomach pain and back pain as if I’m about to start my period and I’m so anxious. I’ve not even told husband yet. All we can do is hope for the best .

Sorry for your past loss. I've had 2, and am pregnant again, but this time via IVF. My scan isn't till later this month. I'm worried, but just taking each day as it comes and trying not to get stressed. It wont change anything! I had nausea a few days ago, then none, bad yesterday, none today! Very perky, sensitive nipples too! Each pregnancy is different in terms of growth and symptoms. My 1st pregnancy, I had a scan at 5+6 and they saw a heartbeat! Very early I thought. 2nd pregnancy, had scan about 6+3 weeks and not even a sac!

Just remember that there isn't anything you can do to prevent if, if you do MC again sadly. Its not your fault x
