Hi

I'm feeling lost

I found out I was pregnant on Valentine's Day

I have had early gestational diabetes I've been trying so hard to keep my baby well I've been on insulin and looking after myself

Wasn't well a few weeks ago was sent to a and e with a fever came home and have been isolating

Had to attend a scan alone due to covid 19 and found out my baby now has no heartbeat it didn't grow

I was 10 weeks

I feel totally heartbroken

Oh no. That’s so awful. Sending unMN hugs and Flowers

I lost my first pregnancy with a missed miscarriage. No heartbeat found at 11 weeks, they think baby didn’t grow past 2/3 weeks Sad but they did say to me at the time that when this happens they think it’s because there was a problem with how it formed and not due to anything the mum has or hasn’t done. So please don’t worry whether you weren’t looking after your baby well enough.

I’m so sorry this has happened to you. I hope you’ve got some real life support now.

So sorry for your loss, unfortunately this situation is made all the more worse by this virus & lock down

Crackerscheesescabbyknees · 04/04/2020 10:06

I'm so sorry you're going through this, OP Flowers.

Miscarriage is a horrible thing to go through, especially having to find out alone.

There are services available to help you through this, please use them. Don't feel as though your loss is any less important than anyone elses.

You've done an amazing job trying to keep your baby safe. Unfortunately, this early on in pregnancy it's not something that can be prevented. It's nothing that you did or didn't do. Some babies just only ever get to be loved through the belly.

Please take care of yourself in this difficult time Brew

My first pg was a missed misc too and its horrible, but honestly its NOTHING you did / didnt do in terms of care of yourself / baby.
It's especially horrible to happen now / alone. Take care of yourself and wishing you better times ahead xxx
