6am - waiting on ultrasound

I've been in the hospital for 2&1/2 hours now. I could not be more thankful to these staff. I literally have nothing else to do and all friends will be asleep so I'll write away here.

Last week (7+5) I had a bit of a bleed, nothing major but still enough to be checked. I was checked, ultrasound showed everything was fine. It became more of a tinged CM, very light but still continued.

3am this morning I've flooded my pyjama pants, just about made it to the loo rather than bleed on the floor. It was horrific. I'm assuming the shock hit me because I've passed out. Come back round, freezing cold but sweating, cleaned up and showered.
Found the number for the gynae ward who said come straight to A&E. OBS done, bloods done, internal done (cervix is still closed and no signs of bleeding). Just currently having a brew in one of their beds waiting on the BEP to open at 9am.

Poor partner at home waiting on any call. At least he can have a snooze now.

Just rambling, why did I not think to bring a book even just for possible wait times 🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh your post just took me back 11 years when a similar thing happened to me.
In fact with my eldest I was in and out regularly with bleeds/pains etc

Try rest up if you can otherwise you could possibly download something?

Hope they get to the bottom of it. Stay safe x

Thank you ladies. I didn't experience any bleeding whatsoever with DD bit I suppose that's the difference between being 18, unplanned and uneducated to 32, planned and thinking you've covered everything.

I've had no pains or cramps. I get a little twinge every now and then in the same place I usually get it whenever throughout the days.

Maybe I'm just gearing myself up for bad news and I pray I'm wrong but I just don't feel it anymore.

Sending lots of hugs and support! 💕

You are nearly halfway there. Here to hold your hand. I had loads of bleeds in every pregnancy. When not accompanied by cramps they meant nothing. The little ones were tucked up with heartbeats. Bleeding with cramping was always bad news for me. My last little one survived a good few bleeds and trips to the epu and is now snoring in my lap.

Crackerscheesescabbyknees · 04/04/2020 09:57

Just here to say I hope everything is okay Flowers

TheBrokenFuse · 04/04/2020 09:59

Hope you are ok op Flowers x

Thanks for the love, hugs and sanity.

Everything is fine, seen my now gummy bear wiggle it's head like it was having a little dance. They said the bleed must've come from me rather than baby. Asked if I'd been wretching or coughing to make that strain, which I've not. So still unexplained but it doesn't matter.
Gummy bear is fine, I'm home and I'm off for a nap.

Thank you again ladies xxx
