Hi I’m looking for a bit of advice from others possibly in a similar situation.

I am 23 weeks pregnant at the moment with my first baby. My husband has children from his previous marriage. My husband is a key worker so still working at present.

We have seen the children in recent weeks and keep regular contact but now feel that they should stay in one household to reduce the risk of spreading infection. Not just for me and my unborn baby but the fact my husband is a key worker too and going back and forth to work.

Their mother wants to keep up regular contact and yes I understand that the mental well-being and mental health of the children is important but we have vulnerabilities that she doesn’t have in her household. I am torn between the mental well-being of my step children and my own health during my pregnancy and that of my baby.

I just wondered if others were in a similar situation and what they were doing? It’s so difficult and stressing me out.

Unless your partner's ex is also out working then I don't really see how the kids are any more of a risk to you than your husband is?
