Just wondering when everyone else started feeling more tired during pregnancy. . . . .I'm 20+5 and definitely been feeling more tired the last week/week and a half. Can't tell if it's due to pregnancy or the effects of the lockdown situation. My mum was surprised I'm feeling more tired already Blush

I'm 27 weeks today and suddenly feel exhausted. A rest sorts me out, for a bit!

toastandmoretoast - everyone says the first trimester is most tiring; and then you get more energy, but I've had the opposite experience (I didn't even know I was pregnant until 13 weeks). Like you, particularly since around 20 weeks I have felt more tired/lacked motivation! I'm now 23 weeks and do feel very lazy at times... although that might be to do with a lack of routine due to covid-19 for me! Do you sleep well at night?

I know it's hard to tell the difference lol. I felt great once the morning sickness passed around 14 weeks and felt good up until recently. I think it might be the whole lockdown thing more than being pregnant but at the same time if I walk up even a small hill I'm panting haha!

First 6-7 weeks I was constantly knackered as I just couldn't sleep properly as I was in quite a lot of pain (thankfully everything was fine) and then I got over it and then this week (now 15 weeks) I feel absolutely done in! I've been told it should pass by about 17 weeks but from what you guys have said I don't think that's going to happen! 😂

Nelbert19 · 03/04/2020 19:28

I was honestly sleeping 14-16 hours a day in first trimester! I’m better now, but at 23 weeks I still need an afternoon nap and sleep through from 10pm - 7.30am!

I had hyperemesis so dont know if that makes fatigue worse, but I’ve never slept so much in my life!

lockdownpregnancy · 03/04/2020 19:41

@Nelbert19 I go to bed around 10pm most nights and waking up at 9am! I still need an afternoon nap so I'm with you! 😂
I'm going to cherish it whilst I can as I can kiss goodbye to a solid 11 hour sleep once baby gets here! 😝

toastandmoretoast · 03/04/2020 19:58

@Nelbert19 I would definitely say the HG will have played a big part there, you're probably still recovering lol. @lockdownpregnancy yeah I wouldn't get too excited about a burst of energy cause it seems like there's no definites in pregnancy lol.

Just a thought are your iron levels ok if your out of breath easily and tired? Grin

toastandmoretoast · 03/04/2020 21:27

I hope so @sarahc336 They were fine at my booking app in Jan and still taking the pregnacare. I remember thinking I'd be anaemic back in Jan but midwife says the vitamins keep that all in check too.
