Pains etc at 16 weeks

Hello everyone. I think I'm worrying too much but still concerned.

I woke up at 4/5am with a VERY sharp uterus pain. I sat bolt up right (mid sleep) and screamed in pain. It went away and nothing massively since. Slight pains when picking up my 13 month old but that's normal. I went to the toilet an hour or so later and think I spotted mucus plug like fluid.

Sorry for the tmi but...clumped unlike runny discharge. Off colour too. Sort of snot like. I had a c section with my first and lost my mucus plus 6 weeks after, this fluid was like the very start of that.

I expect I'm worrying for nothing but wanted to tell someone. Any experiences?

How far gone are you OP? I'm 15 weeks and I get that quite often. I had my scan a couple of weeks ago and everything is normal. It's all ligament pain.
If you have been sleeping funny, cough suddenly or sneeze it's quite painful.
Just try and stretch out when your sitting down and when in bed.
If the pain is to the point that you can't cope then call your midwife just to put your mind at rest xx

I'm 16 weeks. It's scary when it happens like that. I haven't seen any more mucus so hopefully all is ok. Thanks x

@letsdothis123 I was told last week that they will get worse over the coming weeks as this is when the growth spurt kicks in and your belly starts growing rapidly! I can't wait 😬😬 lol
