Is my belly button piercing infected?

Sorry for the photo. For the last couple of weeks the hold from my piercing has been smelling awful (I'm so sorry I know that's disgusting) and today it's quite sore. I've attached a photo of what it looks like. Do you think it is infected?

I haven't worn a piercing in it for about 15 years.

Also I am 35 weeks so it's pretty stretched at the moment.

I would do some salt baths on it prob just a bit of gunk in the old hole.

Maybe just gunky, skin itself doesn't look infected. Keep it clean and dry and it should sort itself out.

Thank you. I'll get some antiseptic / tea tree too.

Mine started pussing a few days ago! I've not had a piecing for 4 years so not quite as long but couldn't believe it. I googled it and read it happened to others and they thought it was the skin stretching etc. Been cleaning with salt water and looks much better now.

Had mine over 10 years and at 30 weeks it suddenly went really red. Gp told me to salt wash it. Skin still looks discoloured but no pain/swelling/not hot anything

Salt wash it is then thank you all
