Hi everyone, just looking for some advice please. I’m on the contraceptive pill cilique which I accidentally managed to mess up quite a few times last month leaving me to finish my pack very late.

On my weeks break, I completely missed my period and now it has been 7 weeks since my last period.

I have experienced pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, bloating/full stomach, stomach cramps, headaches, extreme tiredness and increased urination for the past two weeks. I am now at the point where I’m struggling to eat anything at all, even cups of tea make me feel sick!

I have took 5 pregnancy tests, all on different days in the morning. Every one came back negative. My doctors is not allowing anyone in for appointments. What do I do? Can anyone suggest anything? I have one daughter who is 3 and a half and these symptoms are very similar if not the same as what I experienced during early pregnancy with her x 😩

Hi there,

I'm nowhere near as late as you for my period but having pretty much all the same symptoms, the bloating, increased urination, cramps and some nausea. However got a "not pregnant" result this morning from clear blue weeks indicator. My last pill was Feb 27th and first date of last period was March 1st, so from what I have read on here I have potentially tried to test too early maybe and that could be why the reading is negative now, hopefully! I guess also you can miss periods on coming off the pill too if you've been on it for a while :(

I'm going to wait it out and test again in a few weeks time just because I feel like I know my body and there have been definite changes. It's a shame you can't see a Dr but I guess with everything going on it's going to be difficult :( hoping you get the result you want soon! Stay safe x

If you weren’t taking the pill regularly that can cause you not to have a withdrawal bleed. It can also mess with your hormone levels causing symptoms. You’re unlikely to be pregnant if tests are negative. Hopefully you should have a withdrawal bleed when you finish your current pack and things should settle down again.
