Hi all this is my first pregnancy. Im 8 weeks along. Is it normal to have some shooting pains very low in central pelvic area? Ive had it fairly off and on the past day. Should I call the pregnancy line? No bleeding and feel well in myself. In fact I dont have any symptoms really apart from occasional days of sensitive breasts. Thank you!

I had these and still do! I'm 17 weeks now. I believe they are very normal. Xxx

Everything freaks me out! I am looking forward to being out of the first trimester so I can worry a little less. Thanks so much for taking the time to answer :) xx

Sorry for the slow reply! I know - every little twinge and cramp set me off! I'm now getting used to them all - especially the ligament pain every now and again (or if I sneeze!). My friend who has just had her baby tells me of the joy of the third trimester when your baby kicks the nerves in your cervix which leads to a pain called lightening crotch 😂 looking forward to that one!!! Xx

I’m 20 weeks next week and still get the pains , it’s stretching etc . If it becomes agonising or you get bleeding , speak to a medical professional but my consultant told me it’s normal !
