Polyhydramnios (too much fluid) - any experiences?

I'm expecting DCDA twins and had my 26 week scan yesterday - they were a little concerned about the level of fluid around one twin. It was 9.8cm. They've booked me another scan in 2 weeks time. Any experiences of this? The baby is not big so they're not going to check for gestational diabetes.

I had this with my son. They didn't diagnose anything until I went in at 39 weeks for reduced movements though. Baby was completely fine but they were unhappy with the amount of fluid. They ended up keeping me in with the view of inducing me. (I ended up going into labour whilst on the ward waiting anyway)

It might be that they just monitor you and may want to deliver the babies earlier.
