20 week scan

I've seen a lot of people posting things about their scans, I have mine tomorrow and just wondered if they were still doing them? I dont really want to turn up and be told they are not doing them

Mine is next week and midwife confirmed yesterday that it is going ahead but sadly my partner won't be allowed in due to the coronavirus precautions. I called to check though, not sure if they would have been routinely letting people know.

Yes, they're still going ahead. I had mine last week.

It's an important scan to look for any anomalies so it's classed as essential.

The national directive now is that you have to go alone but it's absolutely fine. There were lots of other women all in the same boat when I went for mine and the sonographer was lovely.

Mine is next week and my hospital confirmed it's still going ahead. They confirmed my scan but my antenatal appointment that should be taking place just before the scan is now a telephone appointment.
