My due date is tomorrow but have been told today that hospital is withdrawing treatment for my dad He has been in hospital a week and has got Corona Virus and Pneumonia but isn't responding to the treatment. They have said apart from continuing to give him oxygen and making him comfortable there is nothing more they can do 😔 We also aren't allowed to go and see him.

My DH has also become ill, not sure if CV but worrying. We also have a 15mth DD.

I feel like my world is falling apart how am I going to keep strong for a newborn, look after DD and DH? all while my Dad is battling for his life in hospital and we can't see him.

You are in a terribly tough situation and I hear you

Is there anyone else you can reach out to that can support you, especially with care for your DD in the coming weeks?

Take 1 day at a time.

You have birthed and nurtured a wonderful little one before and you can do this.

You speak of the people in your life with so much love, try to draw on that love to be strong for them.

Thinking of you x

Thank you, I have 2 sisters but both are key workers one frontline NHS and the other is a teacher.

It feels like I'm watching an apocalypse movie if I'm honest, I can't believe what is happening out there at the moment :(

I’m so sorry. This is a really really shit situation and it’s ok to just name that and feel that. I keep calling it the apocalypse as well, it does really feel like that.

But you are stronger than you know and you will manage and you will get through this

Thank you all, I'm trying to keep going. They have move my Dad onto a elderly card ward with the other Corona patients and are just seing how it goes. It's so hard no being able to see him.

Hubby is still unwell and has been in bed all day, so its just me and DD.

Doesn't look like baby will make and appearance today which I'm grateful for even though I'm super uncomfortable as she's a big baby.
