Hi there! I have my 20 week scan on Wednesday but I’ve heard nothing from the hospital, not cancelling but also non of the reminder txts that I had with my 12 week scan. Anyone in the Manchester/Trafford area had their scan recently? Did it go ahead as planned?xx

I’m not in your area but the 20 week scan is an essential medical appointment and should absolutely be going ahead. I would assume it is unless the hospital tell you differently. I have heard that partners are not being allowed to attend though.

It will be going ahead. Phone them if you're not sure but there's no way they'll be cancelling it.

It won't be cancelled. The RCOG have already confirmed that scans are essential medical appointments that should still be attended (unless mother is experiencing covid symptoms). However, scans now must be attended alone.

All scans are going ahead in Trafford am in Trafford and just had growth scan and midwife said all scan and antenatal appointments are going ahead as normal some appointments with midwife might be by phone but scans are definitely going ahead x

I had my scan last Thursday. I heard nothing beforehand either so rang up and there was an automated message saying all appointments going ahead unless you've been specifically told otherwise.
