Second growth scan - what to expect / outcomes

I'm hoping someone can help to put my mind at rest

I had a growth scan 4 weeks ago to monitor size of baby as I've had previous large babies and she was measuring just under the 90th centile and they were happy she was on track

Last week on Wednesday I had my 34 week apt and my "bump" measurement had dropped to just above the bottom centile - with a growth of just 1cm in 3weeks - this also didn't follow the expected line on growth chart for scan measurement

I am now having a second growth scan tomorrow to see what's going on compared to the last growth scan

Has anyone experienced similar ? What should I expect if she's not growing as expected ?

Was it the same midwife that measured you ? As I found that if I have had a different midwife she has measured my bump a different size and had to gave growth scan x

I had a growth scan yesterday 28+3 because they said my bump has gone two lines down instead of following curve, baby is correct weighed about 2.9 and growing exactly how he should be x

It was a different midwife, I'm just panicking that there's a problem and I've had to wait a week for a scan Sad

Should really be waiting for a week I thought the guidance was 72 hours but I guess the current climate things are tricky.

Try not to worry the bump measurement thing is so inaccurate I have no idea why they do it. I have measured small at every appointment so growth scan each time and the baby has been fine. Yesterday was the latest Measured 31cm at 39 weeks pregnant. Growth scan show baby almost 7lb11 so not exactly tiny.

Midwives all measure differently too and we all carry differently. As long as baby moving and you feel ok try not to worry
