I’m wondering if I should be ‘showing’ more than I am, this is my first pregnancy that has got this far - I’m 11+4 today and think there is a slight bump but I’m wondering how much I should show at this stage and when others started to notice something with their first?

I looked a bit chubby at around 17/18 weeks with my first, had a little bump around 21/21 weeks. Currently 11 weeks with #2 and I’m already looking chubby!

Hey in my first pregnant I got my bump 19/20 weeks x

Bearbunch · 30/03/2020 16:03

I'm 16 weeks with my first and can't tell if it's just bloat or baby! Everybody shows at different stages so please don't worry if you think you should be showing more xx

I got a small bump at about 22 weeks.

The baby is still only around an inch and a half long. The vast majority of women look exactly the same at this point. Usually with first pregnancies, it takes until nearer 20 weeks or later even, to look pregnant.

I'm short and overweight, but it was obvious I was pregnant (not bloated) from 9 weeks. It just depends on lots of different factors. Most people don't show until 20-ish weeks.

I was the size of a house by the time I had DS at 38 weeks...

Ribeebie · 30/03/2020 16:24

I didn't start to show at all until around 20 weeks or so. Totally normal not to have any bump at your stage. Please don't worry.

I'm with @FireflyGirl I'm short with a curve to my lower back, I looked chubby at 9 weeks (clearly has nothing to do with the white toast I could only eat haha!) I'm now 12 and my bump hasnt grown much since 9 weeks. I'd add though that this is purely podge and not actual baby!
