Cant find a looking to conceive thread but then again I'm new to mumsnet so please be kind.

Me and my OH done the dead last night and I am predicted to ovulate in 2 days time. We have lent had sex in ages. Wondered what the chances are of me conceiving especially when my BMI is 35.8. Have got a baby almost 2 in October so would I be more fertile now?

No one can answer these questions for you but the vast majority of couples will be able to get pregnant within a year of trying, so just keep having plenty of sex during your fertile windows. Good luck!

2 days before ovulation is a very fertile time (if you do indeed ovulate on the day predicted... sometimes the predictions are off). If it doesnt happen this month you could try charting your basel body temperature to determine ovulation for sure.

Thank you that's really helpful xx

@Markham1995 per my app, two days before ovulation is a 23.5% chance of conceiving. You'd need to confirm you actually ovulated then though as ovulation times are different for every woman. This also doesn't take into account your bmi which could decrease your chances.

There's a whole conception forum on mumsnet btw, you've just stumbled into the forum for already pregnant ladies xx

Oh would that be a high chance then? I've already had a baby it's just funny how you all of a sudden forget everything after your first. I didn't realise I'll have a look and find it thank you xx
