Hey, just after some advice/reassurance. My morning sickness seems to have come back with a vengeance. I threw up whilst trying to eat my breakfast about half an hour ago, my morning sickness hasn't been that bad since before week 20 (I am now 29 weeks), so I've had a nice break from it but looks like it's back Hmm anyway, my stomach was clearly emptying it's entire contents & with every heave I noticed I was urinating beyond my control (at least I'm presuming it's urine as it was coming out in large amounts every time I tensed up to be sick). But I didn't need a wee prior & there was so much fluid, my knickers despite having a pad on, my PJ bottoms & my socks, & the bathroom floor was soaked too! It didn't have a strong smell. I guess I'm asking if this has happened to anyone else before or if I should be worried about it being my waters? I have trickled a bit of urine when being sick before but never this amount. It's like I was just sat there peeing myself.
Any advice is appreciated, I'm a FTM :) Thanks in advance x

Hi, hope you're feeling a bit better now. You're right that it could be urine (and I definitely had a few leaks when I was pregnant!) but it also could be your waters unfortunately. I would put a pad on for now and call your midwife - they may want to bring you in just to check.

Try not to worry, but definitely call. They can do a simple test to check if it's your waters or not, but if it is then it's incredibly important that you go sooner rather than later.

Fingers crossed for you!

I would definitely be cautious and call a midwife/labour ward just to ask. As it might your waters, and you don’t want to risk it x

That sounds like gestational diabetes

I kind of misread about the peeing. But being sick and peeing loads sounds like gd.

Thanks everyone. Just called the labour ward. Midwife asked me to monitor it for the next hour to see if I leak anymore & then call her back x

So I haven't leaked anymore so the midwife just said if it changes throughout the day then to call her back x
