Comfy trousers for the pre-bump 8-14 week stage?

This is my 2nd pregnancy, and last time I suffered for ages in normal trousers with a stupid hair elastic around the button to hold them closed!
I didn’t buy maternity trousers until I really needed them and it was such a relief when I got them!

This time I’d like to start earlier, as even the elastic on my jeggings waistband are now cutting into me and causing stomach pains

Dresses are not an option for my outdoor work, so if anybody has any good trouser ideas for this in-between stage I’d love to hear them :)

I find maternity leggings very comfortable at accommodating any bloat/bump, I live in them now (9+1 today).

Another vote for maternity leggings!

Of course!

Off I go to find some

Thank you 😊

I have been having the same issue and wanted a pair that weren't tight and that would last me into spring. I actually bought these from the white company, which granted are not cheap but they have been the BEST investment and they have 20% off at the moment :). I went one size up.

Hush harems are perfect for pregnancy - the waist band is nice and high and supportive but also very soft.

I’ve just been wearing Uniqlo airism leggings in my normal size - so comfy! No need to look nice as wfh in lockdown anyway
