I bought maternity wear from booboo, some of it was ok and some of it wasn’t! I bought a black ribbed lounge wear set which fit quite nicely. The only trouble I have with the sets is that I wear a 10 top usually and 6/8 bottoms. With the sets you can’t choose different size top and bottoms so my bottoms have always been a bit baggy. I also got a few T-shirt’s which fit fine. I got two high necked long sleeve tops, one was a peplum top which didn’t fit very well, the hem to the peplum went across my boobs instead of under them. The other high neck was a tight fitted one and it didn’t cover my belly, it went about half way over. I’ve got 2 pairs of maternity jeans, one from topshop and the other from H&M, both fit nicely. ASOS is good as it’s lots of different brands. I’ve seen that missguided have also started doing maternity stuff but I’ve not ordered anything from there

As for baby clothes, I’ve got a lot from tk maxx however I noticed yesterday they’ve now shut their website for online purchases. H&M do nice bits, M&S do lovely bits and Zara too. I’ve got a lot from sainsburys, you can order their stuff on the Argos website. All supermarkets are quite reasonably priced and their stuff is nice. Matalan and primark too but I’m not sure if you can order their stuff online

My travel system is a mothercare one but I was looking at Infababy travel systems. They’re reasonably priced and lots of different kinds. Their reviews seem quite good but I don’t know anyone who has purchased one

Hope this helps 😊

Just a quick one, I got the boohoo pregnancy leggings, I thought they were RUBBISH no where near enough elasticity so crotch kept ending up between my knees. Only £6 so I'll wear them when I'm cleaning!

I thought boohoo very hit and miss some stuff ok others awful. Asos is pretty good. Dorothy Perkins, next. I found h and m hit and miss too. Just be aware of ordering online some places are not taking returns currently eg parcel drop off services. Asos currently has a 90 day returns policy through. I’ve got a parcel stuck at my sisters that’s she picked up for me. Chances are I won’t be pregnant anymore when I can get it 🤦‍♀️

I love my maternity jeans from H&M

Boohoo was ok...some good stuff but lots seems very cheaply made (which I get because it is cheap!). I really liked a midi jersey stretch dress that I wore to death. I second h and m for jeans and basics.

I found it a bit hit or miss quality wise, I bought a few things recently and some felt nice quality and comfy, others felt a bit cheap (which they were so probably can’t complain!) or not a very nice material.

Still kept them though as I was desperate for maternity clothes, especially with potentially being unable to shop for a while. They’re all wearable :)

The only thing I ever bought from boohoo was so bad I never bought anything else.

Best places for maternity clothes in my opinion are ASOS, New look, JoJoMamanBebe

I've tried a lot off diff shops and always been disappointed. My advice is to live in leggings (size up and buy high waisted) and stretchy dresses and long tops. Save your money for baby stuff :)

Lazydaisydaydream · 29/03/2020 21:21

Everyone recommended h&m maternity jeans to me but they only fit until I was about 6/7 months pregnant and then they wouldn't fit over my bump anymore!

The best maternity leggings were from new look. Peacocks has some really nice maternity stuff, especially nightwear.

I’ve just got some maternity leggings from H&M and they fit nicely but only worn them a couple of times so can’t vouch for them too much. Just dug out my gap maternity jeans from last pregnancy and they’re so comfy I plan to live in them until it gets too warm!

I got a second hand pair of H&M maternity jeans, having tried on a few pairs in the shop, and I like them, but some of the ones I tried on were way too skinny in the leg. I've been finding that tighter-legged jeans just aren't comfy by the end of the day. The ones I got are currently good, I'm 22 weeks.
