Is it normal to feel pregnancy symptoms stronger 1 day then hardly anything the next?

I'm freaking out a little bit. I found out I'm pregnant Friday. I am around 5 weeks based off my last period. Yesterday I barely had an appetite. I was getting cramps the week my period was late however this has settled. Today I have no symptoms other than my sore breasts. Is this normal? I don't really feel pregnant. About a week ago I was told I have PCOS and would find it difficult getting pregnant. Sorry if I'm overreacting. I'm so scared of losing this baby and feel anxious. It's my first time being a mum.

Yes, totally normal. I still have this at over 20 weeks....one day I've got no symptoms whatsoever, the next I've got my head over the toilet throwing up and my breasts feel like they're on fire.

Normal!

I'm 18 weeks, and some days I almost forget I'm pregnant, whereas other days I want to sleep all day, bloated, sick etc.

@sel2223 thank you for reassuring me, it's so strange how the body works! Congratulations on your pregnancy Smile

Total normal! I remember squeezing my boobs daily to check they still hurt, and when they didn't I'd start freaking out! Wish I hadnt taken those days for granted as currently twice their size and sore as hell every day (21 weeks) Smile

Also try not to worry about loosing the baby, I know that is so much easier said than done but as long as you are doing everything you can to look after yourself there is nothing more you can do, it is out of your control. Just try and enjoy these early crazy stages and put that thought to the back of your mind x

@Thekindyoufindinasecondhand thank you lovely. I'm trying really hard. I'm so excited for the future and although I don't feel pregnant, it's crazy how I already feel a connection/attachment to my little baby so I don't want anything bad to happen x

Yes specially in the first 12 weeks your body is everywhere lol for me after 12 weeks my symptoms got more regular or were gone but yes the first few weeks you will feel every sorts of symptoms come and go

foodtoorder · 29/03/2020 13:13

Yes totally normal and for me this happened in 3 pregnancies! I think the fear of things not being ok make you over analyse every little thing that's happening to your body so you become over sensitive to every though it feeling.
I would feel nauseous for days and then nothing for a few more. The worst thing about early pregnancy is not feeling pregnant!

@NishaaS123 and @foodtoorder thank you for sharing your experiences! I love hearing about everyone else's. I'm feeling a lot better and reassured thanks everyone!
