Just found out I am 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant and due on Dec 3rd! This is month 23 of trying, I've already taken 6 tests cause I can't quite believe it. Anyone else in the same boat?

My due date is one day after yours, 4th December :)

finallydec2020 · 28/03/2020 21:28

Oh that's awesome! Congratulations! Are you getting any symptoms yet?

Emerald89 · 28/03/2020 21:36

Thanks congratulations to you too ☺️ Not really apart from bloating and being constantly thirsty and then going for a wee a lot! It’s pretty early still I think. How about you?

finallydec2020 · 28/03/2020 22:27

Sore boobs, constantly tired, cramps and feeling sick haha. Don't know why I'm getting so many so early, im hoping it means I'll be done with them all sooner 😂

Hi is it ok if I join?
Huge congratulations both!
I got my first positive test almost a week ago now but have taken tests since just to make sure as I’m the same as you couldn’t believe it!
I am due December 1st

@finallydec2020 and huge congratulations to you 🙌🥳

finallydec2020 · 30/03/2020 10:17

@Lellis92 congratulations! Have you got any symptoms? I've ordered 2 more tests online, but I've promised myself they're my final 2.

@ChampooPapi awesome, I'll check it out now! Thanks ☺️

@finallydec2020 literally the only symptoms I’ve had other than a missed period is mild cramps in my lower back and stomach - what about you?
It’s so hard not to keep testing isn’t it! Think I’ve done about 5 internet cheapies and 2 first responses 🙈
These were my tests 2 and 3 days before my period which was due on Friday - and I did a cheapie yesterday which was really dark too!
I feel like I need the reassurance atm that there’s definitely a baby growing in there.

@Lellis92 I completely understand how you feel. I still can't quite wrap my head around it, after wanting it for so long, I'm so nervous about it 'staying put'.

OP posts:
Lellis92 · 30/03/2020 11:50

@finallydec2020 I know i can imagine for you how much of a welcome shock it is!
Wish you all the luck in the world- it’s just so much harder with the current situation and everything being so strange atm isn’t it?
We were hoping to get an early scan At 8 weeks but lots of places closed or not offering them now, just need some reassurance!

finallydec2020 · 30/03/2020 15:14

@Lellis92 that's exactly what we were wanting, I want a scan at 7-8 weeks too, I'm just hoping by the time we get there all this will have stopped. I just need to see that little heart beat and I might chill a bit more then hahaha

OP posts:
Lellis92 · 30/03/2020 19:51

@finallydec2020 yeah fingers crossed! Positives are at least work is mostly from home so able to relax and take care of ourselves in the early stages!
Same I literally just keep thinking what if somethings wrong or there’s no baby atall?! Haha!
It’s so scary - no distractions either, I’m doing all sorts to try and distract myself but still find myself checking the pregnancy+ app 4 times a day as if the baby is growing by the minute lol!

finallydec2020 · 30/03/2020 21:25

@Lellis92 I'm the same! I feel like I've been 4 weeks pregnant for weeks now, time is just dragging!!! Is this your first? My symptoms are worrying me slightly

OP posts:
Lellis92 · 30/03/2020 22:42

Yeah same I’m 5 weeks today but it’s just going so slowly!!
Yes will be our first so I have no experience to relate to either - it’s hard to know what’s normal and I feel like their isn’t actually that much support as everything you read on google is all different 🙈
What’s worrying you?

finallydec2020 · 30/03/2020 23:52

@Lellis92 I've been having cramps near constantly for around 2 weeks now? I'm just not sure how long they're meant to last. I feel sick, my boobs hurt, my lower back hurts, I just feel like I'm having a lot of symptoms quite early on?

OP posts:
Lellis92 · 31/03/2020 14:12

I’ve had cramps also every day since my positive test but I’ve read that the cramping is normal!
You do have lots of symptoms but that’s reassuring that it’s real! Iv had nothing else really 😏 when’s your estimated due date?

finallydec2020 · 03/04/2020 01:05

@Lellis92 December 3rd, what about you?

OP posts:
NikkiD89 · 03/04/2020 21:02

hi Ladies do you mind if i join my Due to is also Dec 3rd. :)

NikkiD89 · 03/04/2020 21:09

@lellis92 i have been having constant cramps as well. and a back ache. i think i have scared my self silly by googleing everything so i am going to stop. Did u ladies do a self referral to the hospital? ( this is what my GP told me to do) if so how long did it take you to get your letter to confirm you appointment to come?

Lellis92 · 03/04/2020 21:30

@finallydec2020 December 1st!

@NikkiD89 congratulations!! Google can be a good and a bad thing can’t it, I’m the same- I’m still having cramps and back ache also have been since I got a positive pregnancy test!
So I called my GP who said they’d pass my details on to the midwife and to expect a call from them- that was over a week ago have had nothing yet, but I also saw on my local maternity health boards Facebook page an email address to contact for a maternity booking form so I’ve also done that and sent it off and it says to wait for a call

Imjustsolost · 03/04/2020 23:42
