Morning sickness or stomach bug

I’m 6 +4 weeks pregnant. At 6 weeks exactly I woke up feeling nauseous and threw up . I felt nauseous for most of the day . That night I was up the entire night throwing up . I was throwing up until noon the following day and after that I was too nauseous to even get out of bed .

With my last pregnancy my morning sickness didn’t kick in until 8 weeks and it came in waves and felt very different from this .

But then the next day the diarrhoea kicked in ( and I was still vomiting 🤮)! I’m talking the worst diarrhoea I’ve ever experienced. By the following day ( yesterday) I had stopped throwing up entirely but the diarrhoea was as bad as ever . I’m finally starting to feel better today but I still have diarrhoea just not as often.

Now I’m thinking that I have a stomach bug . Is it normal with a stomach bug to vomit first and then switch to diarrhoea? Or was that morning sickness and it went away and I randomly got diarrhoea? Can morning sickness be bad like that and then go away ?

I live with my husband and 13 month old and neither are sick , plus we’ve not left the house in two weeks so weird if I caught a stomach bug ?!

I'm coming up 9 weeks and my nausea and sickness kicked in at around 7 weeks, i thought it was a stomach bug because I was throwing up early hours too and needing the toilet although it wasn't diarrhoea. It felt more of like a churning pain in my stomach rather than waves but I still have it so I'm guessing it's just pregnancy sickness! X
