Don't think there is already a thread for this but correct me if I'm wrong? Is anyone due in September and wondering if they're going to see anyone at all other than midwife before baby born? I guess it's the same for a lot of people and will be worth it to keep babies safe but quite a daunting prospect. Hope everyone staying safe xx

I think there are a few threads for September babies, but none very active I don't think. I'm due the 15th. Im in Ireland and consultant led, but I won't see anyone for a medical appt until 29 weeks. Unless I go to the gp

Snap same due date. That's good you can avoid too many appointments atm. I had a low placenta protein reading so booked in for scans at 23 and 28 weeks as well as 20 (in Scotland). Typically didn't need extra scans for my previous pregnancies when there was no pandemic but glad they're looking out for the baby nonetheless. I'll have another look and see if I can find any other threads! Good luck!

Hi ladies, I'm due 7th Sept and been thinking the same. Dont even know if I'll end up seeing my dad the whole time I'm pregnant! I'm a first time mum so nothing previous to compare it to.

Have either of you been trying to feel baby moving? I keep trying to lie still and concentrate to see if I can feel! Nothing yet, but its early days still!

Hi Ursula, I'm a first timer too. It's all a bit nerve wracking. By lmp I should be due the 8th and I'm convinced my dates are closer than the hosp because I've been feeling little swooshes the last two evenings.

I'm really missing my family, so hoping they will be able to meet my baby boy when the time comes. I've got my 20 week scan at 21 weeks but I have to go into the hospital every six weeks to the blood test clinic, I'm a fair distance from the hospital, and nervous about having to go in so often but keep trying to tell myself that it's all for the best.

There was a thread a while ago but we moved over to Facebook.

I’m due on the 19th September so I’m currently 15 weeks. Just as I got to the stage of being able to excitedly talk about it, everyone went into lockdown. 😑 This is DC2 for us but DD wasn’t planned and I was only 19 so the two pregnancies have been very different for DH and I. This baby took a year of TTC.

I’m hoping to be able to find out the sex next weekend but DH won’t be able to be there with me. Even if he was allowed at the appointment, DD isn’t and we can’t ask my parents to have her because they’re both in vulnerable groups. I have a MW appointment next week too which seems to be going ahead as planned.

I'm due September 1st. Just coming up to 18 weeks now. I haven't had my 16 week midwife appointment yet, as she was on annual leave. We're doing it over the phone next week. No date for my 20 week scan yet.
