Does anyone know where we can pay for a pram in instalments? Xx

@LalalalalaLlama nothing to do with a credit card or debt, id just like to spread the cost Monthly so we can pick it up just before baby comes? I'm not getting myself in any debt...

Bella Baby in Twickenham, South West London do. They have a website where you can order if paying in full but I believe if you call/email them you can set up a payment plan instead

@LalalalalaLlama I know... we want to pay via a payment plan so we can get excited every month and then eventually go pick it up just as baby gets here, we have savings but we want to pay for it monthly just to spread the cost and get excited for it

Our local independent shop does payment plans. You can pay as much per week as you want so long as it's clear before you need it delivered.

n00bMaster69 · 28/03/2020 00:41

Be careful, the shop you sign up with might not be in business by the time your baby arrives. The economy is going to shit.

@n00bMaster69 it's scary isn't it ! X

Mamas and papas does interest free payment plans for either 6 months or 12 months. Luckily we went into one of the stores the day before lockdown kicked off and ordered ours, we paid 10% deposit there and then the rest will be on the plan after the pram is delivered. I’m due August so we asked for it to be delivered in July. They had to check my ID and asked some questions about finances because of course it’s a payment plan so that may need to be done face to face. It’s worth contacting them and asking if they can still do it online since stores are closed? X

There’s no way I’d do this, so many stores going out of business you’ll be lucky to get it at the end.
Find something else to get excited about and just buy the pram outright.

If you can afford it I would buy the pram now and get delivered to somebody else's house. They can store it in the garage and you can still pay for it monthly and not let yourself have it until you've finished paying for it (just incase the shop goes bust before you get it).
