2/5's engaged at 39 weeks

I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and been to the midwife this morning who said I was 2/5 engaged. My due date is in a week... how long did it take for you to go into labour at this stage? Can you go into labour before you're fully engaged??

I was never engaged before labour. DS was back to back though so that's probably not helpful.

I was fully engaged from about 34 weeks, due date passed was induced at 40+4 for reduced movements. She must of been comfy!
