Hi everyone

I just need someone to talk to as I'm so upset right now, I found out last week I was pregnant and I'm so excited as we've been trying for baby number 2 but this morning I woke at 5 with cramping and dark red bleeding which has since gone brown, the cramping has eased off a bit but I'm still feeling very sick and my boobs still hurt a bit just scared it's going to be a miscarriage as I had one of those last year and it was horrendous, I'm just wanting my rainbow baby, please let me know your thoughts and if anyone has experience anything similar thanks x

Hi I'm sorry you're going through this Thanks
I had some sort of bleeding with all three of my pregnancies, so I understand how scary it is not knowing what's going on. My advice to you is try your hardest to rest (I know it's easier said than done) and just keep an eye on the bleeding. I think they say that unless it's really heavy try not to worry to much.

When I had a miscarriage the bleeding was so heavy, but this bleed isn't filling a pad which I guess is good, I'm just trying to relax and I'm monitoring the colour and how much, I just hope everything is okay 🤞🏼 my EPU aren't seeing anyone unless it's very urgent because of Covid-19 so they aren't worried about my symptoms either, thank you for your reply x

I hope it stops soon for you Thanks xx

Hi OP

Where are you based?

St Mary’s emergency gyne unit in manchester seems to be different to most EPUs in that they see any woman with MC symptoms same day!

It’s changed a bit due to the CV whether you have to ring up and discuss your symptoms but I don’t think they would turn you away with the symptoms you are discussing!

So sorry to hear your story! I had a MC last year too after 7 months of trying xx

Well I'm having a clear discharge with little bits of brown in it now, sore boobs are back again and I'm feeling really sick. I'm near Blackpool so that's where I'd have to go, I have to ring back Monday if I'm still worried and have some blood tests done to check my HGC levels 🤞🏼 thank you girls xx
