Hi,

Has anyone been in a similar position? Long story (sort of)short found out I was pregnant two weeks later - week after AF due heavy bleed and clotting.

I went to EPU the scanned and took blood test. On the scan no sign of baby and was told my lining was thin (not a good sign right?!) Got a call that day and told my hGC levels where low and I have most like had a miscarriage. Told to call back in a week if I still getting a positive pregnancy test.

Got 3+ weeks on digital clearblue after a week so went back in for bloods. Found out first hGC was at 210, 8 days later it's at 1440 with low progesterone.

I thought I was around 5 weeks 4 days on the first scan and cannot make it work that I could be less than this with my ovulation date! (I can feel when I ovulate so I knew)

This morning I started getting mild cramping not pain more central than on one side, with light brown bleeding. I have another scan in a few days!

Really my question is did anyone have a healthy pregnancy with low rising hGC and a thin uterus lining? Or should I prepare this could be ectopic?

With the bleeding, my blood results and PUL I'm thinking I have no chance of a healthy pregnancy.

Ypur hcg levels are almost doubling so not Mike's off as it only has to double or there abouts every 48hrs so every 2 days lining being thin is a good sign it's a sign of pregnancy they wouldnt of seen anything on first scan as hcg levels need to be over 1000 have they regained you ?

Hi KHall, Thanks for your reply! I think after the first scan and bloods they assumed there was no pregnancy and I had to be persistent to get bloods done yesterday which was 8 days later!

I have another scan booked for Sunday morning - they didn't want to scan yesterday just do bloods! When I got my results back this morning she did say hGC l looks good but progesterone low so I could be miscarrying.

I would r worry about progesterone to much as not all hospitals even test that they just go off hcg mine do t they only test hcg, when I had ectopic I had pain and bleeding but my hcg was very slowly rising the 2nd time was a pul and was doubling or there abouts every 48hrs they couldnt see anything on scan at 5 weeks 4 days I was having pain down legs and one sided like a stitch they rescanned a week later and there was a sac in right place so yes it can come out with a positive ending especially as you have all of the good signs xx

Hi, thank you so much! That really put my mind at ease, I have anxiety and panic attacks and for the time being I will just try and remain hopeful and calm. Your reply means a lot thank you! xx

Just an update: had a horrible experience with the scan she spend 15 minutes before complaining to colleague about how she didn’t want to be there and why are people still coming for scans. Then when she scanned me she told me there was nothing there I am normal, like I was wasting her time. I told her my levels are rising so could it be an ectopic, she told me no way for her to know and I need surgery to find out.

I got more bloods taken and my levels are still rising but slowly - so something is going on. I have another scan on Wednesday. At the moment I have no internal bleeding and apparently my tubes look fine with no lumps.

I’m quite worried though I am still bleeding brown blood which they weren’t concerned about. And they said as long as I’m not in pain will avoid surgery. So still playing the waiting game. Very much looking like it’s ectopic just hope it will resolve itself!
