Chosen 2 middle names as ds1 has 2 middle names, although not certain yet. Def going to have Owen as middle name.

DP, Ds and generally whole family prefer Daniel, I like Elliot.

I like that Daniel can be shortened when older, but as dp left for boys night out he said bye Danny to bump and I didnt like it at all. I think Daniel for a baby. Also my friend said when older he will be called Dan the Man?

I dont mind Dan or Danny when he is older.. but 'Dan the Man'?!?!

I like both names.

My brother is Daniel and is in his 30's. Never been shortened by anyone in the family and he's definately never been called Dan the Man!

Go for Daniel - love the name but couldn't use it myself as I had an ex-boyfriend by that name, which would have felt a bit odd...

I am going to have to add up the votes. DP still firmly against the name Elliot and now doesnt like Reed.

He likes Arthur, ds really doesnt want Arthur as he wants that name for himself

DP has 'promised' not to shorten the name Daniel.
