Scan today feeling scared

I have my 12 week scan today (I'm 13+1) and I'm really anxious...I live on an island with 1 hospital for over 100,000 people with this hospital being the only place to treat those with covid-19... of which we have several cases. I have to go alone which I totally accept but I feel sick with worry...😕

I understand how you are feeling, I had my 20 week scan on Wednesday. Just think, you've got through everyday in your life so far and this is just another day. The feeling when you see your baby will make it all worth it. Good luck 💖

Good luck for today, it's a scary thought going alone with everything that's happening (mine is Tuesday) but it will be worth it in the end

Good luck op :) I think they are being extremely efficient with getting people into the scan room on time and wiping everything thoroughly after each lady. will it make you less worried if you make a scarf for around your mouth and sanitize your hands at the door and tuck them into your jumper, this is what I will be doing on the 1st of April :)

Ask if you can WhatsApp video call whoever you wanted with you during the scan.

Just wanted to update that my scan went really well 🙂 baby is fine and the maternity department at my hospital was empty! Hope everyone is doing ok in lockdown and thank you for your words of reassurance xx
