As the title suggests im 15 weeks pg with our first baby and have been having the most awful headaches / migraines. Is this usual? Anyone had any experience of this and can suggest what i can do? I dont want to have to rely on paracetomol all the time..

Hi, I had quite a few bad headaches when I was around 13-15 weeks! I didn't find much helped but please don't worry about taking paracetamol when you need it, I worried about it too but my doctor told me that it's perfectly safe to take whilst you're having a migraine for a couple of days to help you get through it. I also researched pressure points on the head and I got my DH to push on those, that gave me some relief and was relaxing.
Hopefully they pass for you soon, I'm 28 weeks now and I get the odd one every now and then but much better than before.

Hi I'm 13+1 and I've been having severe headaches all week...I'm wondering if it's more to do with what's currently going on rather than pregnancy? But then I am currently trying to homeschool 3 children too so maybe that's the cause of mine 😂 Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and it's ok to take paracetamol in pregnancy. I'm also using the kool n soothe head strips and they really seem to help me x

I’m 15 weeks tomorrow and have had a near permanent headache for the last three days. Fresh air helps mine to ease for a bit but this lockdown makes that difficult.
