Bleeding at 6 weeks

I was hoping someone can help....
I'm currently 6-7 weeks pregnant, at 1730 hrs I went to the toilet and had a little blood on the tissue, the next toilet break nothing and then again blood on the tissue for next toilet break. I'm 38 years old and panicking I've had a miscarriage, I've not got any cramps just feel pressure in my lower abdomen as I've always felt. I've got a little nausea but don't know if that's because I'm panicking. I've not got sore boobs, they are fuller but I've not really had sore boobs that much through the pregnancy anyway.
Any ideas or stories of hope? X

It's so worrying when you see blood.

In my first pregnancy I started seeing spotting regularly from 6 weeks to 12 weeks. Usually red bleeds followed by brown for a few days and then the cycle would repeat.

Second pregnancy, I'm 9 weeks now. Big red bleed at 5 weeks, followed by brown bleeding for a few days. Had a scan all looked OK.

Bleeding can be totally normal. Of course it can be a sign of a miscarriage, the nurses at the EPU always told me to be worried of the bleeding filled a pad.

@milney25 Thank you for replying I so worried, I've been under so much stress through this so far as the father doesn't want anything to do with it and I never ate much yesterday and not been sleeping well so feeling I'm having a miscarriage.
I've to call my doc tomorrow to ask them to call the EPU to try and get a scan in though I'm worried with everything going on they won't scan me.
I only have the blood after I've been to the toilet so far, I just hope it doesn't get worse through the night.

Ah bleeding in pregnancy is so bloody stressful.
It’s not very helpful but for some ladies it’s the end for others it isnt. I’ve bled in 2 of my 4 pregnancies and lost those 2. Still early in my 4th so no idea how it will go. My friend bled from around week 13-20 and her little one is almost 2.
Good luck!

@holypoop that sounds really stressful, I'm sorry you are going through that. That seems like a small amount of blood so far, so keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't get worse. You should definitely give your GP a call and see if they can offer an advice
