Currently 19 weeks and wear glasses all day every day and have done for 15 years...
In the last few weeks I feel like my eyesight has deteriorated drastically! Feel myself squinting to read writing on the TV!
Has this happened to anyone else or is it just a coincidence?
Blame pregnancy automatically for everything out of the norm😂

Yep I’ve just had my prescription altered -1.5 ! Haven’t even been able to pick them up because specsavers has now closed 😂

The only thing the lady said was to mention it to my midwife as sugar can make your eyesight fluctuate & can be a sign of diabetes

I have worked for Specsavers for 6 years and yes, during pregnancy your prescription can change. This is due to changes in hormone levels and completely normal. I always advise that if you do need a new prescription then try not to spend too much as you tend to go back to your original prescription after pregnancy.
