Norwich v Ipswich

Hi, we are 6 weeks pregnant from FET and we need to decide which hospital to use as we need to register on Pregnancy Referral Form.

We were due to go for a 7 week scan, next week, at our fertility clinic, but these scans are now cancelled due to Coronavirus. Therefore we were advised to register directly with the hospital we wish to go with.

We are situated between Ipswich, Norwich and Bury St Edmunds hospitals. Has anyone got experience of Norwich, Ipswich or Bury hospitals?

I had both my children at Norwich and were both positive experiences, nothing negative to say. They were both born on delivery suite, we then had to stay on the ward for three days afterwards and they both had to go over to NICU from the ward every few hours for antibiotics, lovely staff and treatment in all three. Have no experience of Ipswich or Bury at all but would definitely recommend Norwich.

Similar area , I had one born in Ipswich which was fine and one at Hartismere in Eye. I'd say Hartismere would always be my first choice but not sure they are still open....

Ipswich was a positive experience.

Ipswich was fine- only negative was that a trainee midwife missed how much blood I lost and I ended up quite poorly.

I'm 10 weeks and will be at Ipswich hospital - so am keen to hear people's feedback 😊 feedback I've heard seems good so far

Thanks for your responses. Sounds like both seem good. I will be an older mother, did any of you have experience in this respect.
