Husband had a vasectomy nearly 3 years ago, could I be pregnant still?

Hello, so my husband had a vasectomy nearly 3 years ago, I haven’t had a period since 13th December, doctor thinks I’m go through the menapause (I’m 37) I did a cheap test Monday and it had a faint line but not sure if it was an evap line or even in the right place? It was faint.
I feel like I’m pregnant I know possibly all in my head, I’m really tired all the time, nausea, dizziness,headaches, bloated??! I have 3 children and that’s why my husband had a vasectomy.
So confused.
Any help or thoughts very much appreciated!

Hi, I don't I convinced myself it was faulty or not in the right place?!
I just can't stop thinking I'm pregnant! I've ordered a couple of the clear blue digital ones they should come tomorrow x

When he had the vasectomy did he actually attend the follow up and provide sperm samples?

You are young to be going through the menopause. I know it happens but generally not.

A work colleague had a ds 6 years after her dh's snip..
Her ds was thankfully a total copy of him - not sure he was convinced he was the df at first..

He did all his samples and the last one confirmed he was sterile and also said that the sterility cannot be absolutely guaranteed! 😨.
Just so you know as well I have been 100% faithful!

Depending on how the vasectomy was performed, the tubes can re-canalise and restore fertility, but it is very rare. It’s why your DH was warned at the time that it cannot be guaranteed.
I think you should just take this a step at a time. Repeat the pregnancy test, as you planned, and then you can consider options from there. You may simply test negative and be able to stop worrying.

Realistically if your last period was December, you would have a strong line and probably some symptoms of pregnancy by now - you would be quite far along.

I think you want to he pregnant so you are convincing yourself you are.Its easily done.

Thanks ladies, I'm not sure I would of got pregnant IF I am from December it could of been anytime from jan to now, my periods have been so hot and miss for ages now, but this is the first time I've had all these symptoms?
Oh I don't know, will see what happens, the doctor has booked me in for more blood tests in May if it's not related to pregnancy.
Just so confused, apart of me wants to be pregnant now .

They aren’t as sensitive, I have always used one after getting a definite line so I knew I had enough hormone in my body. But it might show. Do let us know x

Not me but work colleague has a gorgeous 6 year old a 24 and 27 year old and a 66 year old husband who had a vasectomy about 20 years ago.

Colleague is obviously much younger than DH (2nd marriage)

Wow it really does happen, I kind of want to be pregnant now even I convinced myself I didn't. Oh god I'm so confused right now 😫
