I’ve booked my first appointment, told my mum and downloaded a pregnancy app. Also had a look at prams. Does anyone have an recommendations on good apps? Is anyone buying any books? Any websites to get freebies?

I was a bit lost at this point too!
It may be worth getting hold of some vitamins (they have pregnancy ones with it all in or just folic acid and vitamin d)
Maybe browse up on the nhs website do's and dont's during pregnancy about food etc, and pram wise I wouldn't worry until a bit later!
But if it helps Iv just had my pram arrive and I'm really happy with it and was great value for money, it's called Infababy ultimo travel system.
There are so many brands out there so just have a look about and see what you like :)

Absolutely nothing. I lost my last pregnancy in January and I will be making no plans whatsoever until 12 weeks with this one

You could download the bounty or Emma's diary apps but agree it's still very early. I'd wait til after 12 weeks before buying anything.

Congratulations OP!

Baby Centre and Pregnancy Plus apps are good. Also, as PP said, start taking folic acid and vitamin D now if you aren't already x

Take vitamins and download an app. I did nothing else. When I got to about 6 weeks, I made an appointment with my midwife. I had an early scan at 8 weeks and then again at 10 weeks.

I lost a pregnancy in January last year very early so I tried not to get too excited too soon. I am now nearly 15 weeks and only just allowing myself to get excited after three scans and a small morning bump.

Oh and congratulations.

Congratulations!

Where I live they give you lots of good information at your booking appointment (probably a book's worth!), so you could wait until you have had the appointment before you decide to buy any books. They should also give you the Bounty pack with a few freebies in it, as I recall.
