What does your belly feel like? Around 20 weeks?

Hey everyone :)

I’m a bit of a worrier and I’ve been having some issues with UTIs and possibly fibroids so I’m just wondering if this is normal (first baby so not a clue!)

What do your belly’s feel like at 20 weeks?

Mine seems really hard at the bottom, if I press around my belly button to either side and below it feels rock solid, but after I push on my belly it kind of goes away and isn’t so hard but still firm. I don’t know if this is the baby when it feels particularly hard?

There’s not a lot of change to my upper belly, little bloated but most definitely all at the bottom.

I was a front sleeper but for the last 3-4 weeks I can’t lie on my front as it feels like there’s a brick in my lower belly! Does anyone feel the same?

Hi -

20 weeks on Friday my whole stomach definitely feels harder/firmer and my belly button looks further out as each week passes definitely looks like I could get an outtie Shock I do have stages where lower down one side may be harder than the other so assuming this is baby? Its so hard knowing what is or isn't normal during 1st pregnancies!

20 weeks tomorrow, first pregnancy. I definitely gave a bump but it looks like it's in two halves (top and bottom) and goes in at the belly button level.
It's so strange and top half feels solid whereas bottom half slightly more squishy. No idea what's normal or not but I had a fairly flat stomach before so it all feels pretty weird.

I am 17+5 and I have a small, hard bump low down, top of my stomach hasn't really started to expand yet except at end of the day when I'm all full of food! I know what you mean about it feeling quite hard, I think this is most definitely normal! I was a side/back sleeper, liked to move around a lot and now can't sleep on my back, feels really weird and heavy where baby is, plus I know the advice is to side sleep from about 15/ 16 weeks or before if it is uncomfortable. I bought a pregnancy pillow to help me sleep on my side, it does help a little! I don't think you should sleep on your stomach, to be on safe side :)

@sel2223 my bump is exactly the same. Goes in at my belly button i thought it was a bit odd as top is hard too
